1. I have lived here for 3 months shy of a year in Building 1. I noticed starting about a month ago that I was receiving large, painful and itchy welts on my arms and legs. I believed them to be hives because I have allergies. Today, I saw a full sized bed bug crawling on my bed sheet. I immediately researched the bug and was informed on the areas to look for these bugs. I have a full blown infestation. The welts now make sense. This is devastating. The date is 5/3/2020. 2. I reported this to management right away. They did not answer my calls. Finally, I got in contact with the emergency maintenance person. While Terminix offers 24/7 emergency services as they are essential, even in the face of the ongoing health crisis, maintenance person said they work with their own company and only they would be allowed to fix the issue. He said he spoke to the leasing manager (who still refused to be in contact with me on a Sunday) and she would have the exterminator come first thing tomorrow. I cannot use my apartment through the night. It is nt livable in this condition. They have handled it very poorly and I believe other units are infested as well. I did not bring these in with me. I had lived here too long with no issue before starting to receive bites. I suspect there have been more reports of these bugs than I am aware of.
