On March 24, 2020 I contacted my landlord on the telephone and informed him that I was seeing bedbugs and the new tenant next to me had been setting off bug bombs for the last two weeks. I asked him if he needed to inform me of bedbugs and he said that he would be over in a few minutes because he was fixing a faucet in my bathroom and replacing a window. He showed up with spray and told me to spray every few weeks with it. It didn't touch the bedbugs. I spent a couple hundred dollars on caulk for holes and cracks, hot shot bed bug killer, bed bug powder, mattress covers, trips to laundry mat to use the dryer to kill them, scrapers to scrape ten years of layers of wallpaper off that was crumbling and flaking anyways, countless hours of losing sleep to thoroughly check every crack and crevice for them. The landlord knew that the new tenant had brought them but dropped off worthless spray to me. Two weeks later they had spread down the entire hallway on my floor. He BLAMED me for the bugs and told EVERYONE living in my apartment complex it was me that had brought them in! Stay away from these landlord's. I will never sleep the same again.
