Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I woke up on the morning of January 25th 2020 in room 122 at the Dallas inn and suites Waxahachie to find a bed bug crawling near my stomach, I flicked it off the bed and immediately got up, took a shower and contacted the front desk of the hotel. The young lady from the front desk moved me to room 112 where upon walking in and doing a scan of the beds I proceeded to find and catch yet another bed bug. Hotel management has refused to give me a refund and told me it was likely ME who brought the bed bug to the hotel and refused to offer any sort of compensation for the incident. The floors there are also so dirty that when you walk on the carpet barefooted or in light colored socks it turns the bottom of my feet and the socks black.
