This hotel is most probably infested with BED BUGS!!! Well at least in the room that I was given to stay in on a three day Labor Day weekend trip in September of 2019!!! I was supposed to stay there at this hotel for 3 days and two nights, during the Labor Day Weekend, September 2019. On my initial and FINAL night of my stay in The Claridge-A Radisson Hotel, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, I got SEVERELY BITTEN OVER TWO THIRDS OF MY BODY BY BED BUGS, during the early morning hours, as I slept in the hotel room bed!!! I immediately informed the management there. I wrote an incident statement/incident report for the hotel security guard who immediately was summoned and who came to my hotel room to investigate, for the hotel records. I immediately took pictures of the bed bugs, and pictures of the various welts over two thirds of my body from which I had sustained the bed bug bites. I was able to secure the actual bed bugs on tissue paper, of which I promptly sent pictures to bed bug exterminators in NY and in NJ who identified the bugs as definite bed bugs!!!! This was a vacation NIGHTMARE!!!! I had broken out in welts ALL OVER TWO THIRDS OF MY BODY, so badly, that I was forced to go to the adjacent NJ hospital EMERGENCY ROOM, that very same morning of these bed bug bites incident-which thank goodness was only steps away from this hotel. I was forced to disrobe, shower, and place ALL of my belongings in plastic bags, before any of the ER nurses and any of the ER doctors would even allow me to enter into the ER to be seen. When seen by the medical staff in this hospital, they TOO ALSO IDENTIFIED ALL OF THE WELTS AND BITES all over my back, the back of my legs, the sides of my body, my breasts, buttocks, and feet, as BED BUG BITES. When I brought this all to the attention of The Claridge-By Radisson Hotel management, I was offered a stay in one of their hotel’s Oceanview scenic rooms, another possibly bed bug infested hotel room to stay in, of which I promptly informed the hotel management that I wanted to get out of the hotel and that I would NOT accept any of their offer(s) to stay in another hotel room at this hotel! Upon my return from my trip, I had to go to my own personal Medical Internist physician who ALSO identified the welts and the bites over two thirds of my body as BED BUG BITES!!!! I had to purchase all types of medicinal medically prescribed medicated salves and ointments to put all over my body. I am a fair skinned person, and I STILL have the bed bug bite scars on my body of which I still/currently sustain blemishes on my body. I am SO TRAUMATIZED by this experience that I now take so many precautions whenever I enter hotel rooms when I go away on trips!!! I ask for rooms that have NO carpeting, and I don't sit on any of the furniture in the hotel rooms, and I definitely do not snuggle underneath any of the sheets and bed covers, until I visually inspect the bedding with a special fluorescent illuminated flashlight that detects for body stains and for bed bugs!!! Thank goodness that I had booked this hotel room via a third party internet hotel site, of which I called to tell them of the incident. This site made sure that my money for this stay, in the hotel room was fully recovered and returned to me, from this hotel!!! This was the WORST trip experience in my entire life!!! I have visited, and I have stayed in hotels practically all over the Caribbean Islands, Mexico, Hawaii, Canada, Las Vegas, Nevada, etc..., and thus far I have NEVER been, in my entire life, bitten up by bed bugs until I had stayed in The Claridge-A Radisson Hotel. Take heed, BEWARE THE BED BUGS!!! Date of stay: September 2019

I was awoken by my guest who was just bitten by a bedbug (rm 1825). I called downstairs to the front desk, made report with security and the front desk and moved to room 1811. Later that morning I spoke with the Manager Kelly, who explained to me the procedure of what happens with a report of the nature is made and someone will be contacting about what happened. It's Wednesday, March 24, 2021 and no one from the hotel has reached out to me. I have pictures of the bedbug and the bites my guest received. i was waited for the room to be inspected as of March 26, 2021, from a stay on March 19, 2021. The hotel did nothing.

Stayed at the claridge from July 16-18 and it was a terrible experience. My family and I rented out 3 rooms 1724-1725-1732 and in all of the rooms we were bitten by bed bugs. My mother in law had severe inflammation on her arm when she was bit multiple times. In total she found 8 bed bugs in one of her two beds. It was disgusting! We informed the hotel and they said they’ll open up a case. Still haven’t heard back from them at all. Spent so much money and i have to treat my clothes and luggage for bed bugs now.

Checked in on January 21st of 2022 and Checked out Jan 24th for a Bachelorette Party. Bed bugs were not spotted until 6:30am on Jan 24th as we were checking out. We brought this up to management who were ABSOLUTELY rude and told us they didn't want anything to do with it (After we killed the bug and brought it down to the front desk to show them) We then proceeded to ask who we can contact for a full or partial refund (since this is not the only problem we had this weekend) and was proceeded to be chastised for not booking directly with them and for trying to save money by using a third party booker.

5/11/2022 I called and notified the hotel that I received bed bug bites, I also spoke with the manager and informed him I received bed bug bites, as well as emailed pictures and proof of the birds. He told me they will conduct an investigation 3 times, still no investigation was conducted. He told me he needed to speak with the head of house keeping, still no response, he also informed me the bed bug company was at the facility and still hasn’t given me a response. Everyday I call he tells me to call back the next day as if my situation is just getting pushed to the side. I should have checked the reviews before booking because it’s obvious a lot of people had this incident in the hotel. This is highly unprofessional and instead of the hotel taking immediate action, they are pushing the situation to the side. I want a refund. And I will not be staying here ever again.

On10/7/23 bed bugs noted on bed sheet and bed side lamp. Report to front desk. They” treated” my luggage with a “hot box” and changed my room. We also filed an incident report.
