July 4-5, 2019. Hotel Florence was booked for our family reunion. Because we've been previously bitten, my daughter & I always pull off sheets/covers, etc. & look under mattresses, rugs with our phone flash lights. I've also now started checking this BB Reg. since I found out about it. The first night everything was fine. Place was nicely restored & we were provided with lemon water in the hall. Very enjoyable. The 2nd night, my daughter jumped up out of the bed because she felt a bite. Yes there was a red spot on her. After looking under covers, we spotted one on her side of the bed. I flushed it down the toilet. Of course she gets "Anxiety Attacks" from these, so my poor child sat on closed toilet top & tried to sleep (because of time of night 2AM, I wouldn't let her go sleep in car alone). About 2 hours later I get bit, checked & found another one which I took picture of this time. Couldn't understand where it came from so quickly, but realized we forgot to check the HEADBOARDS. WE PACKED UP & spent rest of time in my car. When my daughter initially reported it, a clerk ACTUALLY TOLD her, they had just SPRAYED(??) WOW. Well, when I showed her the picture on my phone, she apologized & gave me a full refund. My Uncle & Aunt who arranged for the booking said they also had bed bugs, but didn't get their money back. It's a nice place & I was prepared to stay again until the bed bugs.
