Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Checked into Staybridge Suites in Polaris on 9/24/2019. Did my usual tearing the bed apart, pulling off the comforter, removing the sheets, lifting the mattress, etc. Low and behold, there was a bedbug under the pillows on top of the fitted sheet in room 404. It was dead, but I was 100% confident that is what I was looking at. Used Google Assistant on my phone to confirm and sure enough, that's what it was. Left it on a piece of paper in the kitchen, grabbed my stuff, and immediately checked out. Took all night to find a place last minute, but ended up finding something for $180 (much more than planned). Ridiculous and the staff had no idea how to handle it. BEWARE!
