1. 09/13/2019 @ about 11:40pm 2. Poorly handled. The only employee working (Chris) acted surprised but clearly knew there was a problem. Evidence on the 2nd mattress in the room showed clear signs of it having previously been noticed (washed, but not recently, mattress cover with old bedbug blood/feces stains). The 1st bed I inspected had the same plus a LIVE adult bedbug. The employee then stated there were no other rooms available which there clearly was. Probably because he knew they were in the other rooms as well. He sent us over to the Day's Inn up the hill (which we really couldn't afford) acting as if he would do something to correct the issue; cover the differences, gift cards, anything to help lighten the issue...considering the refund for the room didn't go back on my fiance's credit card immediately so it sent the balance into the negatives. We were almost stranded 5 and 1/2 hours away from home with no money because of their mistake. We called the Sutton Lane Motel once we returned home and the employee on the phone (Delphia, I believe) refused to give my fiance the phone number or name of the manager!
