Date of check in: 8/22/19 Date/time of discovery of active bedbugs: 8/23/19 2:46am I awoke at 2:25 with back pain and was up getting some Tylenol when I saw a live adult bedbug crawling near my pillow. I crushed it with my finger and got multiple pictures to confirm it was a bedbug. It was a positive identification. I woke my husband up and told him the room had bedbugs and as he sat up, a smaller bedbug crawled out from under his pillow. We didn’t kill that one, we trapped it in a cup alive. We immediately gathered our things, encasing in plastic bags anything that wasn’t secure in luggage and I got a new hotel room at a different hotel. My husband brought the live bedbug to the front desk and he said we wanted a refund and the employee at the counter said she was going to let management know. I booked through booking.com so I’m currently waiting on a response to my refund request. The man I spoke to from booking this morning said he tried 3 times to contact the front desk and no one answered. I have pictures of both bugs.
