10/19/19 - 10/20/19 (11:00pm - 7:00am) After staying in room 202, I came home and had over 31 bedbug bites.

I checked in on Tuesday 8/20/19 at 542pm for a business trip. Checked out at 9:27am 8/21/19. My coworkers and I had gone to dinner then swam in the pool and talked in the breakfast area for several hours. I laid down to sleep around midnight and shortly after began to be bitten several times over a period of time. I tore the bed apart looking for whatever was attacking me and found 2 bedbugs which I smashed and stored in a tissue from the bathroom. I felt obligated to stay since the trip was for business however I inspected the couch in the room very thoroughly and decided to lay there for the rest of the evening. I was unable to sleep the rest of the night preventing me from being able to perform my duties at work on the 21st. When I spoke with the manager upon check out he offered $25 off of my bill and an apology which I believe was unacceptable for what I was put through. I have bites all over my body that have swollen to the point I can’t hardly bend my wrist from one of the bites. I had to drive home and hit wash all of my belongings from the trip as well as my car. I wasn’t taking any chances. When I was taking the bedding off the bed to find the bugs there were brownish colored spots all over the pillow covers, pillows, comforter, blankets, sheets, etc every part of the bed so it’s difficult to believe this was the only incident. The managers words said he took it seriously but seemed more like just words. It was very upsetting.
