I stayed at Drury Inn at the Stadium in Kansas City, MO on June 7, 2019. I found 2 bed bugs in the bed in the morning. I was very very worried and upset. I immediately called the manager. She apologized profusely and immediately told me the room would be refunded. She sent up the maintenance person to confirm and he came up and said that indeed that's what they were. She also told me that she would contact the exterminator and that they would come out and inspect the room within 2 business days. She also told me how to treat my clothing in case there were any on my pajamas. I told her that I had already thrown away what I wore to bed but would appreciate extra bags to separate anything of my other belongings. I did check the bed upon checking into the room, but apparently I didn't look close enough. You really need to lift up the entire mattress to make sure you are safe. From now on I will definitely be doing that.

Checked in on 11/18 at around 7pm. Got settled into the room where I had most of my belongings as we were traveling across the country for a move. Woke up because my dogs were barking at a passerby. Looked down and noticed a bug in the bed. Called staff and they moved us rooms. Said they didnt know what bed bugs looked like and were unsure if that was one. Moved rooms to 308. They comped our room but never told us to bag ANYTHING. Manager didnt apologize or talk to me. Would barely look me in the eye even. I spoke with my mother and she told me to bag everything (after it had been in my car open with the rest of my belongings). Needless to say be wary staying here.
