I was in ATL for a business trip for the Federal Aviation Administration (May 13- May 16) I was assigned a room (304). On that Tuesday night (May 14), I sat on the couch to watch television. While watching tv, my back (top right side just below my neck). After looking at my back, it started to turn red.Throughout the night, I experience itching and burning. As the week went along, the bites became worst and became sores. I checked out Monday and told a manager as I walked down for checkout. Because I was already scheduled to stay in ATL for the weekend after checking out, I did not see a doctor until I returned to Washington, DC on Sunday, May 19th. After seeing the doctor, he informed me that it was insect bites and it looked more familiar to bedbug bites. I attempted to call the hotel and report again but the manager was not available. I also filed a complaint with Hilton. They sent me an email stating that there was nothing they could do.
