I stayed at the hotel from 3/2/2019 to 3/8/2019. By the third day, I began to suspect that the itchy welts that were appearing on my arms were bed bugs and inspected the room. I did not find bed bugs but I did find what appeared to be flea dirt along the edge of the box spring when I pulled the mattress back. The next morning there were several fresh rust colored spots in the bed around my arm and shoulder area, and on the pillow case where I had been bitten on the neck over night. The hotel staff immediately moved me to another room. At that point, I did not find immediate evidence of bed bugs in that room. I was not sure that my clothes and luggage were not infected, so I did not want to move to another hotel and spread them.
