Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Booked penthouse suite 1122 for 2 nights for my wedding in December 2018. I woke up on my wedding day 5am to bed bugs crawling on my skin in bed, which I got several bites. Upstairs my friend washed her face, grabbed towel & it had a bedbug crawling on it. I placed the bedbugs in a plastic bottle & showed front desk. They refused refund, said they have to inspect room & Eco-labs will come that day to inspect . Had to evacuate room that morning right before my wedding ceremony. Day after, I go back to get refund. Manager said Eco-labs hasn't come yet. Then manager immediately lies says Eco-labs came & already & nothing was found so we get no refund. I said we gave you the bugs we found, they accused us of lying. I emailed corporate, but they said they can do anything because the hotel is franchised & the owner will be in touch. Of course the hotel owner has not contacted me.

How to get rid of Bedbugs at home

If you find bedbugs in your home you should remove as much clutter and as many items as possible from your house. Replace all bedding and examine the box spring for bedbugs.
