Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

My husband and I moved into our apartment back in October. When we moved, we discovered that the place was infested with cockroaches. At first we didnâ€™t know what they were as we thought they were just water bugs from our leaking faucet. Then, we noticed a neighbor complaining about it and before we knew it there were everywhere! In elevators, in our laundry facilities, hallways, everywhere! So, you can only imagine that it didnâ€™t come to a surprise when we discovered that we were infested with bedbugs too. 880 a month for this??? No thank you. We contacted management and they said they would take care of it right away but we had to harass them for 2 more weeks until something happened about it. Just wish we had the money to break our lease.

March 2024. Had bites for a couple weeks before finding one. Management had pest control come by 3 days later. First experience in this place was the cockroaches, then fruit flies, then mice. Now bedbugs. Considering this seems like routine I doubt they'll disappear. Laundry costs $2 per drying cycle, $3 for washing.
