Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

We stayed at Quality Suites on Tuesday November 20th. We planned to only stay one night. Once we got the children asleep, we were sitting around talking in room 314. My Mom noticed a bug crawling on the couch. We looked it up and sure enough, it was a bed bug. Not long after, one crawled across the bed my mother in law was laying on. We quickly notified the front desk. They relocated us to another room (at 1am) and we moved things over as quickly as we could. While we were moving, we found another bed bug crawling near my daughter in the bed she was in in room 313. Once again we alerted the front desk and they were also given another room. The employees were all very nice.We had used points for the room, so they refunded the points. The managers only suggestions was to spray things with alcohol to keep them away. Choice offered no compensation. My biggest thing was that my 7 year old is a light sleeper and we had a hard time getting her back to sleep after moving to another room, so our day of site seeing and going to see the lights at the Gaylord were not as much fun because she was tired all day.
