I stayed at the Dewitt Hotel & Suites for part of the week of October 23, 2018. While I didn't SEE any bugs, I woke up covered in multiple clusters of bites - on my thighs, calves, arms, neck, chest. There was also tiny blood marks on the sheets from the bites/bugs. The room, 702, was "tidy" but I wouldn't describe it as clean. The hardwood floors were very dusty, and my socks were black from walking on the floors. They had a microfiber-like couch in the room, which was spotted/stained. I only sat on it, fully clothed, to remove my shoes. I contacted the health department as well and made a report when I returned home. I also took multiple pictures of the bites and the resulting welts. I still have scarring from the bites. Luckily, we were able to heat treat my suitcase, clothes and belongings to stave off an infestation at home.
