November 5-7, 2018 My husband and I were viciously bitten by bedbugs. I have at least 30 bites on my arms, hands, legs and neck and he has around the same amount, mostly on his arms and one on his face. They itch so terribly that my husband scratched until they bled and now he has scabs, swollen places and hives. There were several blood smears on the bed sheets. We killed many bedbugs in the bed and along the floorboards and kept them in tissue. On the second day we showed them to the manager and he changed our room. However, we got more bites, about the same amount as the first day. We reported it and the manager gave us 2/3 of our money back. We have never encountered bedbugs before. They itch so badly we felt like cutting off our arms. Nothing stops the itching. Now we have to do all the cleaning of our clothes, suitcases, pocketbook, etc at home so we don't infest our house.
