Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

10-15 through 10-19-18. I saw a bug in my bed which squished into a steak of blood. I wasn't sure at the time what it was, but have since confirmed. The next night my mom saw them in her bed. She reported to the hotel staff and they moved us to a new room. We were told that if the bugs were confirmed they would treat the room and take it out of rotation for a month. What was hard was that we did check for bedbugs upon check in and just didn't see evidence at that time. But now I am home a few states away nd have to keep all my luggage in the garage because I do not want this in my home.

12/3/2024. Spent the night and after getting out of the shower I found a bed bug on my sheets. I put it in a cup and took it to the desk and the lady behind the counter said “why the hell would you bring that to me”. I cut that 5 day stay down to one night and found another hotel. No refund offered.
