Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Hello I recently stay at hotel Country Inn Suites by Radisson 3760 East State Road Port Clinton, OH 43452 on August 31-September 3 2018. September 1 2018 upon arriving back to the hotel approximately 10pm we noticed dead bug in he bath tub. The problem is the room was not clean for 3 days while we were there. We did bring this issue to the hotel staffs attention and were promised they would clean the next day but did not. September 3 2018 the day of check out I woke up itching my arm and noticed a dead bug in the bed next to my child and I while we were sleeping. We did check out immediately and emailed the hotel manager, and corporate. My husband and I had made several attempts to work with the staff but have been unsuccessful. I did file a formal complaint against the hotel through booking.com. I did attach pictures of the bugs in the bath tub and also in the bed. I am asking that your company please investigate this hotel for bed bugs. Thank you, Marsika
