Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

We arrived at the hotel late on 8/19/18, around 11:30 pm. We always do an immediate inspection of the beds before settling in. Upon inspecting the first bed, we found some black spots/stains on the mattress cover and then after further inspection found a live bed bud hiding behind the tag. We immediately gathered our things and went to the desk to check out. The desk attendant did offer us a new room but we opted to leave all together. We did not want to take any chances, having dealt with bed bugs in the past. The hotel did not seem very clean, there was an elevator full of trash that was half spilling out of bags, and the bathroom in our room had mildew in the toilet.
