2/4/18 - I checked into room 1317 at 3:00 or 3:30 PM at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Houston Near the Galleria:2950 Sage road, Houston, TX 77056. The reservation was made under my name, Xiao He. It was a very important business trip with our company's Chairman & founder Mr. Henry Zou (He lives next to this hotel at Westin). (Our company is The Henry Group and we do multifamily real estate investment, the meeting is called Global Multifamily Investment Summit which one of the speakers is Mr. Sylvester Turner-- the Mayor of Houston) 3/4/18 - I woke up around 1:30 am with severe itching on my arms and legs. I lifted up the sheet and saw a bed bug. I captured the bug with my hand, took a picture of it and brought it downstairs to the front desk. I complained to the desk clerk, showed her the bedbug on my cell phone and the bites on my arms. She wrote an incident report and gave me another room 911. I counted about 10-20 bites on my body. I changed my room around 2 or 3 am but I left my belongings in room 1317. I am too scared to sleep all night and I stay in the lobby all night. I don't know what to do because I don't have any experience to deal with it. On the website, they told that if I cannot clean it, I may bring the egg of bug back to my home. Because I rent the home that from my company, I cannot take the risk. And during all my stay before my leaving, the hotel just told me the insurance company will contact me soon but the insurance company didn't call me or send me an email at all! No refund to me at all and I threw all my belongings $7091.65 at the airport before I left Houston at 7/4/18 During 2/4/18-7/4/18, I slept very little. And due to lack of sleep, I didn't fulfill my President's task at all and get an bad feedback for my career. 13/4/18 I back to Alhambra, CA and see my doctor. The doctor told me I am don't need to worry but I still cannot sleep well.
