On July 14th around 2am I woke up and noticed a bug crawling on my pillow. It was dark so I thought it might be a ant. Upon closer examination I realized it definitely wasn't an ant, but was a beetle looking bug, so I threw my pillow across the room freaked out. I then looked up what a bed bug looked like and realized it was a bed bug. That night we found two more aside from the one on my pillow. We went back to bed hoping that was all the bed bugs we would find. That morning when we woke up we started looking better and pulled out over 15 bed bugs between our bed and the bed our children were sleeping on. We took the bag of bed bugs to the manager and she immidiately grabbed some spray that the pest control people apparently gave her for bed bugs. We evacuated the room so she could spray the room and promised that the spray would take care of the problem. We prepaid for a week and didn't have anywhere else to go, so we trusted her and hoped it would work. Fast forward to tonight, July 16th, we decided to check the beds again just to make sure the spray worked and we came across eight bed bugs alive and well and a whole ton of bed bug eggs. At this point with children involved we plan to get a refund and try to find somewhere else to stay because we don't want to risk our kids potentially getting sick. I would venture to guess this whole place is infested with bed bugs with the quality of this motel and the other patrons who stay here. The management is nice, but again not worth the risk to keep messing around with this nightmare. We will never stay at this motel again.
