Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

June 22, 2018, 2 a.m. Woke up to use bathroom, and noticed traces of blood on the bottom sheet, as if I'd been bitten. I looked around the bed with my bright phone flashlight, and saw a bug in the seam of the bedspread, directly across from the blood spot section of the sheet. I didn't think it was a bed beg because I was under the mistaken understanding that they were much smaller than this bug. So I wasn't too concerned. A few days after I got back home, I looked up bed bug images, and realized that the bug I saw was indeed a bedbug. I called the hotel to let them now, but they took on a denial stance. In the end, the woman assured me she'd thoroughly check out the room and get right back to me. It's been a week now, and still no phone call, so I decided to take action and file this report. I did not not take any photos, unfortunately.
