check in 7/5/2018 I woke up right after 3 am and I found bed bug on my pillow . I jump out of my bed since I'm allergic to any bugs bites . Soon after I managed to catch the bug in a cup with a lid and run downstairs to show the lady at the front desk . She was surprised and said they never had this problem before . We decided to leave and go to find another hotel . This wasn't easy , our kids were sleeping , my autistic son was very upset , he didn't understand why he couldn't sleep any longer . When we were checking both beds we also noticed very little , jumping bugs . This hotel was also infested with fleas , they allow pets as well , and pets stay for few $$ more only . I would never expect this , the hotel was recently renovated and nice looking . However if the price is affordable and they take pets the hotel has to manage to keep rooms free of fleas and other bugs . Lady at the front desk apologized , but she never offered to give me her manager contact info or to keep me updated on pest control company findings or treatments . i asked her "what is bed bug policy, what we should do if we bring this home ?" she said " I don't know ". Well, today I checked, they had 5 rooms available , I'm sure someone is sleeping in this room tonight , some people sleep through the night , they think the bites are from mosquitoes . Please , no matter where you stay - check the room and wake up in a middle of a night to check your bed
