Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Checked in and immediately checked out on 6/29/18 around 8:30 pm. Found bedbug crawling across bedcover immediately upon check in. (Luckily, before we had even sat down or put anything away, since I ALWAYS check beds FIRST THING.) Front desk was good about the situation, first offering to give us a different room, but we refused knowing that the hotel had bugs. They graciously refunded our money. Please beware of the positive reviews for this hotel. I chose it because of the reviews, but they were wrong, and I now wonder if many reviews are fake. In fact, I submitted a review to a very popular travel website (TA) and they have not posted my review even though they have posted all my other reviews from the same trip. I find this very upsetting because I rely on these supposedly unbiased reviews to avoid this exact situation.

Checked in on 3/24/2019 and upon pulling the mattress away from the wall to inspect, I saw a bed bug crawling on the box spring cover near the wall. Reported immediately to management and they offered another room. Was also offered a free night's stay worth of Hilton Honors Points since I was traveling for business, but the points were never added to my account.

How to get rid of Bedbugs at home

If you find bedbugs in your home you should remove as much clutter and as many items as possible from your house. Replace all bedding and examine the box spring for bedbugs.
