Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

8/31/2019 7pm arrived at room 120 and immediately pulled apart bed sheets and mattresses/box springs to look for any signs of bed bugs. Mattress seemed fairy new, no staining or visible evidence of bedbugs. 10:30pm, got back into hotel room where our things had been for approximately 3 hours prior while we went and had dinner. We were in the room approximately 20 minutes when I pulled back the sheets to get into the bed and found a live bed bug crawling on the top sheet of the bed between the sheet and comforter. I collected the bug in a ziplock bag and immediately vacated the room with my children. Was refunded my money at the front desk and given a card to speak to a manager. Now me and my family are stuck driving 45 minutes away after 11pm to find a decent hotel where I will be drying all of our belongings in hopes of avoiding bringing any of these nasty bugs along. Never again.
