On June 2nd, 2018 I discover a bed bug in this room. Upon catching it and taking it to the desk. They offered to clean the room. I insisted they give me another room. After washing all of my clothes and washing everything I had with me including disposing of my luggage cases in the dumpster. I was moved to room 325 just 5 doors down. During the course of washing clothes and walking past the room frequently. I watched house cleaners go into the room change linen and clean everything as if they are doing a regular turn over for the next guess. NOT calling an exterminator or a licensed professional to inspect the room to ensure there is no more bed-bugs present or to have it professionally treated! I watched a young family with 2 babies unknowingly be checked right into the room less than 3 hours after I vacated the room. I later learned this is against Hilton's policy. General Manager apparently does not follow and the state health department guidelines as it is supposed to be professionally inspected and treated before allowing more guest to occupy the room after a report. I believe the motivation here is because the General Manager would rather have Complete Occupancy ignoring the health hazards being presented to others. Her bonuses are apparently more valuable than her guest at this location as she has no problems putting new guest unknowingly into a bed bug infested room, This really bothered me to see this handled unprofessionally and I will not be back.
