Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Found a bed bug in the outside bed 3/27/2018 threw it outside requested for refund after not only that but every member of staff including manager was completely rude. They harassed my 2yr old child for being 2 this morning and when I informed them he's 2 the manager and employee started attacking me.

Stayed 12/24/2019-12/26/2019. My wife didn't notice bites until we started our drive home on her body on 12/26/2019. At that moment we weren't sure what was going on. Today my family heads to the Dr for confirmation. Management thinks that their encased beds don't have bedbugs. That does not fix the complete headache we have to go through here at home now, treating for bedbugs in our own home, car, linens etc. an absolute nightmare!! We have reached out to a bedbug attorney and have lots of evidence to support the bedbug report including photos, receipts, etc. A quick google of bedbugs and how to get rid of them will pull up some very alarming information. We usually stay in Coquille every year at the same little ma and pa hotel/motel with 0 issues. We will never make the mistake of staying at Edgewater again.
