Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

2/22/2018 Checked bed and mattress prior to bringing items in the afternoon. Saw no evidence of bed bugs. Went out returned later around 8pm. Got showers had a bug land on our bed. We killed it and looked up bed bugs. Ripped bed apart found a dead bed bug on mattress. Saw a bug on top of curtain killed it. Saw another bug on curtain. Informed owner of the find. Said they were embarrassed they blamed it on a friend they let rent room for a month prior claimed he stayed at other hotels must have got them there. We packed up all our stuff asked for the nearest laundromat. They gave us 3.50 in quarters and laundry detergent and said they would check on us following day. They did not. Spent way more at laundry mat plus then finding a new place to stay at 12:30 am. Plus worrying about still bringing some with us!
