Just moved in to apartments, started getting bit never in my wildest dreams thought it would be bed bugs went to see the doctor they told me it was bed bugs told the apartment manager who refused to fix it says she thinks I brought them there though I never had them ever before and so she called the company who inspected said they are bed bugs but they're unable to fix it until a week later to treat my apartment to kill the bed bugs

7-3-2019. My girlfriend started getting bitten when we'd sleep. We went to see her doctor & we're told they were from bed bug's. I reported this to our property manager, Pam and she responded by saying that I was at fault for bringing them into my apartment & that l would have to pay for an exterminator. Upon further research though l found that this is an ongoing problem at this apartment complex and that the property manager likes to play the blame game, instead of admitting that ya, there is a problem and it's not always the residents fault. I am a very clean resident and don't believe, I'm at fault for anything. Also, we did have an exterminator come in, but they failed to correct the problem the correct way, so there is no way to tell if our problem is actually solved or something that will just come back. By state law, the complex is supposed to notify our neighbors w/ connecting wall's that we had an outbreak, so that their apartment's can be also inspected, but the property manager, Pam won't do the responsible thing and do this, so technically, we don't know, if anything has been fixed & they for whatever reason, believe l'm going to pay for something, when they won't do what is required, "by law". This experience has been very mentally and financially draining on both myself and my spouse & if you're reading this, please do yourself a favor and don't move here.
