We checked into this hotel on the night of 12/25/17, on our way to Aspen from Texas. Because it was late and we had small children, we checked in and went straight to bed. The next morning as we were getting ready, I pulled back the covers to the bed my 2yr old was laying in and right next to his leg is a live bedbug! I moved my child and took a picture before my husband killed it. We grabbed our bags and ran out of that room as fast as possible. When I told the manager she was very nonchalant about it. She said she’d have to “verify” that it was a bedbug. I told her I’d help her out and slapped a paper with the dead bug on it down on the front desk. She finally said they’d try to issue a refund. We left and called the credit card company. The credit card rep verified that we were issued a refund shortly after we left. That’s good but doesn’t change the fact that we got no apologies and my baby slept in a bed infested with bedbugs.
