8/25/17 I stayed at the Normandy in room 615. The rooms overall dirty like it had not had a good cleaning in a long time. Carpet was stained very badly. Bedding was old and the sheets were tattered and stained. After being in bed for about an hour I started itching. I did not think much of it. I woke up in the middle of the night with what felt like hundreds of bite marks. I called the desk they said they could move me and and the Manager would call me when he arrived in the morning. I moved to a room next door and two hours later the same thing this time more bites and red marks. It was like both rooms were infested . By this time I showered packed up my bags and waited for the manager to call. By 9:00am the manager had never called. I went to the desk and talked with the desk Clerk and told them what happened. She said We have had a problem with bed bugs a lot lately. But we called the exterminator and he sprayed all the rooms. I asked for a refund and was told that they don't do that because I could have brought the bugs with me and we don't know how they came so we don't issue refunds. She took my name and contact info and said the Manager would be calling me back. He never called me back. This hotel is an old rundown hotel that has not been renovated in years.
