Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I stayed in room 209 at this hotel on 9/19/17. I was bitten multiple times by bed bugs while sleeping. The next morning I witnessed a bug actually crawling across the sheet. I spoke to the manager and she said they were aware there was a bed bug problem in this particular room over the last couple of weeks as a result of some hurricane Irma evacuees that had stayed there. They supposedly treated the room and I was the first person to stay in the room since then. Obviously, the problem wasn't fixed.

1/20/2020 - Woke up in the middle of the night and had about 30 bites across my waistline. They changed my room and told me they would check my room and get back to me. No one ever got back to me. I checked in with the front desk 3 times and every time they said the manager was not there but she would call me back. The second room luckily I did not have the same problem. I was highly disappointed with managements response to the situation.
