Night of September 1 to September 2 2017. I was sitting on the bed relaxing, it was about 11pm, and I saw a creature crawling on the bed. To make a long story short, before I knew it, I had taken all linen from the bed and caught no less than 6 bed bugs, which I killed and kept in a small drinking bottle, as evidence for later... I took pictures every time I found and film some of them when they were crawling around. I rang the bell at the reception and got no answer. I had decided that I was not going to sleep in that bed. I slept in the car. Next morning, at about 7.30, after a rather uncomfortable and cold night in the car, I rang the bell again. I obviously woke the man up. I showed him the bottle and said to him that I wanted a refund. He sounded like it was not possible to find bugs in that room because it had been redone recently. He scrutinized the bottle as if I had manufactured the critters! He called his boss and because they spoke in a language of the Indian Continent, I understood nothing of what they said. The man entered some numbers in a calculator and showed them to me saying that that was what he could give me back. The amount was half of what I had paid. At that time, I was getting impatient. I signified for him that I did not spend half a night in the car, and therefore demanded a full refund... Then he began to say to me that he could not know whether that had been the case. I was nearly furious. I whipped out the mobile phone and reminded him that pictures had time stamps. I started detailing pictures and film for him. At that point, he could see that I was prepared and had a case... He said ok, and I got a full refund. Had the man acted differently from the start, he would probably have had attenuating circumstances. The way he played it, I believe somebody would be well advise to do something about it.
