Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

It was about 11:00AM on Monday, August 21st 2017. My boyfriend and I had just watched the eclipse outside and I went back inside to watch more on the news. When I sat down on the side of the bed and moved the sheet I saw something move and immediately jumped up. I then moved the sheet some more to get a better look. Bedbug! Ugh! I took a picture right away and caught the nasty thing in a pill bottle for proof. Fortunately the staff is super friendly and helpful. They moved us to a different room within an hour and told us if we have any other issues to let them know and they would take care of it. They then spayed down the previous room we were in.
