Reporting on behalf of my spouse, K, and his co-worker, R. K & R booked separate rooms at Hyatt Place Bowling Green for a business trip from 7/24/2017 - 7/28/2017. R stayed in room # 403 and was awoken at 3 AM on the morning of 7/25/2017 by what he said felt like a wasp sting. He got up and turned on the lights in his room to see his bed covered in bed bugs scurrying away from the light. He went to the front desk and reported what happened. Management accompanied him to his room to check the mattress and box springs, confirming the bed bug infestation. R was moved to another room that did not appear to have an infestation. K was staying in room # 331 and did not see any of signs of bed bugs in his room. Needless to say, both K and R checked out on the 25th without penalty for canceling the remainder of the stay.
