Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

7/10/17 Sitting on my bed at 9:30 pm and crawling across my night stand was a bug. I took a couple pics and googled what a bed bug looks like and sure enough, it looked exactly the same. Meanwhile I had squished it and it was full of blood. I looked around the mattress for more but didn't see any. We packed up our stuff as we had already stayed one night. I went to the front desk and told them I was checking out due to what I found and showed them the picture. I asked for a refund as we had paid for two nights up front. He said the management would deal with that in the morning as he couldn't do anything. I will be calling first thing.
