1. May 2017 - July 2017 at the Woods of San Marcos- building 11. 2. I found an adult bed bug on my bed at 8am May 3rd. I had no signs of bed bugs (or eggs) in my room before this date and I kept my apartment and room very clean. 4 girls lived at this apartment so we created a chore list on the fridge to ensure the apartment stayed clean. Upon complete removal of all my clothes, pictures, furniture, and curtains, I found beg bug eggs in the holes in the wall. Bed bugs had infested the inside of our house and were coming thru any holes in the wall - from curtain rods to television wall mounts. After speaking with a local resident, who also works for The Woods of San Marcos, I discovered that many other units at The Woods were also infested with bed bugs. When I say infested, I mean entire backings of pictures COVERED with red bugs and white eggs. I ended up paying $300 for the removal and went through the most hellish experience cleaning out my room and apartment. The bed bug guy from World Wide Pest Control (that The Woods hired) sprayed just my room and stayed for maybe 10 minutes. He came back 2.5 weeks later and stayed for another 5 minutes to "spray again". He only sprayed my room and didn't even check other parts of the apartment. Even though we are almost completely moved out of the apartment and are living on bare minimum, we still find adult bed bugs around our apartment. We have no eggs and traps set all over. We did not resign but other residents should know what this apartment contains. Be warned.
