I stayed from Sunday May 7-Wednesday May 10, 2017. I awoke on May 9 with some spots on my elbows, but had rationalized it as poison ivy. On the morning of May 10, I woke up at 4:30 AM feeling disturbed, and of course, itchy. My arms felt itchy, my shoulders, and my back. I stayed in bed and Googled "poison ivy," because I still believed that was what I was experiencing. it was only after I saw a comparison of poison ivy and bed bugs that I determined the hotel room had bed bugs. I got out of bed and took a shower immediately, I then examined the bed closely and found bed bugs, as well as the "ink" spots left behind by bed bugs. There were 2 bed bugs on the headboard near me, and 1 on the other end of the headboard. I immediately packed and left. I always leave my bag on non-upholstered so I left anything that touched fabric-ed areas, and went to the front desk. They apologized, comped my room, and gave me hydrocortisone cream. They also indicated that the manager would call me. Two days later, I have still not heard from the manager. I have called them twice. I simply want to know how widespread the bedbugs were in the room, and to be reimbursed for what I left behind. They are not responsive and I worry for other people's wellbeing who stay at this hotel. I stayed in room 307.
