4/29/17 we discovered we had bed bugs in our cabin after my future mother in law informed us of blood on her sheets. We went upstairs to see, and we found not only blood, but dead AND alive bed bugs. We immediately moved all of our things out to the front porch in order to go through EVERYTHING very carefully to make sure we didn't bring any with us. We called and spoke with the property management company and the owner, and they did NOTHING to help accommodate us to another cabin/lodging for the remaining 2 nights we were supposed to be there for. The owner said she would refund us the 2 nights, and the cleaning fee. This obviously is not sitting well, as on a Saturday evening we were left scrambling for another cabin to accommodate 7 people. We ended up having to spend an additional $943.00 for another cabin to stay in for the other 2 nights.This cabin's calendar still looks like they are renting it out, and not sure when they found time to do a proper extermination of these bed bugs. I do have pictures and videos for proof. I feel those wanting to rent this place should be aware of this.
