My family stayed one night at this hotel location. We had just traveled to the area to pick up my aging mother. The time of our stay was late due to travel time which was around 3:00 am. We 'd traveled front Memphis TEN. All other hotels that we generally stayed at (Hilton, Inc.) were full booked as it was Mardi Gras w/e. Other than sleeping in our car - we elected to stay. Once we arrived at Americas Best Value Inn (Wiggins) the front desk was very pleasant - we paid our bill - our room was 207. Once in our room the room appeared clean - all were sleepy and got in bed as we were exhausted from our travels. The next morning we discovered that once the spread and top sheet was removed, it revealed a discarded smucker jelly peel off in one bed, and small blood smears. The next morning we headed back to Memphis. Within that week - members of the family had red, swollen bumps all over our body. Each went to the ER in Memphis. When we reached out to the owner - he was very rude and did not take ownership of having bed bugs and was very adamant that his hotel was clean. Our luggage and bed clothing have been exterminated and bed bugs were found - we all have been treated for the bites and are continually hopeful that infection will not set up nor an allergic reaction.
