07/01/2016 Approx 5 P.M. The first night I slept in the apartment, I was bitten by something numerous times on my back and arm. The next day, I informed the apartment manager and he offered to get someone to spray. He, of course didn't specify it being bed bugs, and I hadn't experienced something like this before and didn't think of bed bugs as being what bit me. No one ever came to spray for anything. I kept getting random bites throughout the next several months, again, not knowing what it was biting me. Skipping forward 5 months and a friend had come to visit. She saw a bug crawling on my pillow and informed me that it was a bed bug. I immediately threw away my bed, washed every piece of clothing/bedding/rugs, threw out any extra junk or clutter, set off foggers twice, used diatemecous earth, sprayed store bought spray, and when that didn't work I purchased some heavy duty spray. Its been about 3 weeks with no sightings of bugs until today. One was just seen crawling on my couch. The downstairs neighbor admitted to having them, and informed me that the residents before me were infested. That I am aware of, my neighbors next door have or had them as well. I had shared my sprays with them. I just wrote a letter to management to tell them about the problem and demand the problem to be remedied. So, we shall see.
