1/19/2017 I was at this hotel for a bellydance festival and I spent Thursday night with 1 other girl. We did not ask for room service on Friday since we got in late and it was just the two of us. Our other 2 friends got in Friday afternoon and the 4 of us slept in that room that night. The sheets came off of one of the bed (maybe not very elastic? I'm not sure) and we did do room service on Saturday. When we got back into the room after a workshop, we noticed a bug on the top of the newly made bed, took a picture, looked it up online, determined it was a bed bug and immediately went to the front desk. The Front office Manager came with us back to the room, the bug was gone, but I showed the picture to the maintenance man that met us there and he confirmed it was a bed bug. The hotel had us switch rooms and then I had to go back to the front desk to ensure that we would be getting a full refund (which we did). They then also moved one of the attendees whose room was directly above ours, probably to have the exterminator out and one of my friends did hear something about "rooms with known infestations" so it was likely not a first time incident.
