I arrived in Boston on November 20, 2016, and rent the house directly at 193 Cambridge St., # 3, Allston, MA 02134. When I arrived, I found the Room C was covered with white powder and the bed legs covered with glue. I asked the landlord what’s wrong, he said nothing and did not mention bedbug(actually, this house was suffering from begbug since July 2016 at least, i know the detail later). On December 11, 2016, the landlord suggest I moved to Room A. Before I transfer, he pretreated the room with high-temperature heater, also did not mention bedbug. Since December 22, my right hand back appears continuously red dot, the landlord said it was allergic and suggested me eat diphenhydramine. Then my body was bitten, I began to realize that may be insects. The landlord begin admitted the room was pollution to bedbug.He used a vacuum cleaner suction and sprinkle white powder, and after carefully inspection, I found a bug on the wall. After simple treatment, the landlord said don’t worry about begbug. Unfortunately, I found an adult bedbug the next day. December 29, I decided to deal with my baggage after heat treatment and then removed. But the landlord asked me to move away at once, it is raining outside the word that night. I just came from China, know nothing on the bedbug, the landlord did not tell me the truth from beginning to end and the severity spread of bedbug, he also did not ask professional company pest control to clean up the house, and continue his house to other renters till now. In the absence of termination of the rental contract, the landlord just simply expulsion me away. My physical, mental health and the economy suffered a great loss. I wash my face in tears every day and hope the relevant departments could give me some help and solutions.
