I stayed in this hotel during a business trip; December 5-8, 2016. On December 7th, I woke up and found a large bed bug crawling on my pillow. I notified the general manager, Cynthia Witherspoon; She stated they would place me in a different room, but would call an exterminator before moving my personal items - she also gave me $5.75 to wash my items in the hotel laundry area. However, I had to remove my items to the new room, and it didn't appear they had called an exterminator. The employee working at the front desk couldn't give me any information regarding if they had or not. The staff acted like it wasn't an issue and brushed it off.

I notified the general manager, Cynthia Witherspoon; she stated they would move me to another room, but would call an exterminator before they moved my personal items - she also gave me $5.75 to wash my items in the hotel laundry area. I ended up having to move my items to the new room, and it appeared they did not call an exterminator. I later asked the employee at the front desk but he acted like he didn't know or couldn't give me the information. The general manager treated the situation like it wasn't a concern.
