Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Management was at first, disappointing. Jose was his name. He spoke to me over the phone and said he would send someone up to the room to look for bed bugs. After an hour, nobody came, so I made reservations at a different hotel and left. As I was leaving, a female manager checked the room and said she didn't see bedbugs and asked if there were mosquitoes in the room. I have bites on my feet, legs, back, arms, face, and head. These are bites from bedbugs, not a mosquito. Jose said he wasn't going to charge me for my room. He did not offer to clean my clothes while I was there. He did however, speak to the coordinator of the conference I'm attending, and offer to clean the clothes through him.
