Stayed there 2 nights. The first morning after the first night, I noticed a few bites on my arm but didn't think much of it. The second morning, I woke up and my body was covered with bites. I pulled off the covers and immediately found 2 bed bugs crawling on the sheets. I took a video of one crawling and a still photo of the other. I went to the front desk and told them I would not stay another night and because of the bugs I had to cut my conference short by a day and a half. Hotel management said they were sorry and wouldn't charge me for the second night. I demanded that they not charge me for either night and we had to argue about that before they finally agreed to refund both nights. The manager basically denied that they have bed bugs and said the refund was for "goodwill." He said that they rent the room out 5 nights a week and had not heard of a problem. But I think this is impossible. I had to leave the conference early, had over 100 bites and welts on my body, had to throw out my suitcase and freeze by briefcase, belts, shoes, etc. As a public service, this hotel should be banned until they spend the money to get rid of their bedbugs.
