I checked in on a Friday the place seemed clean enough nothing great. I did notice a couple dark smears on the walls and patches of dark spots on the sheets, which I realize now are signs of bedbugs. I was awoken in the morning by something crawling on me. I trapped the bug in a paper cup and thought it was a weird looking roach. Then I picked up a towel and there were bugs under it. In then found bugs in my shoes. I did a google search and realized that they were bed bugs. 100%certain. I talked to the hotel manager and he offered to deep clean the room or move me. I opted to move. The first room was near the laundry room, so I was hopeful that was what was causing the problem. I was in the new room for a short time. A Roach and a bed bug climbed on the night stand. I saw other stains on walls and sheets. I found another place to stay and demanded a refund. He tried to charge me for the half of day I was there in addition to the first night. I refused to pay that. He didn't argue and didn't seem too surprised that I was leaving because of bugs.
