Checked in Sunday late, husband noticed bites on legs, feet on Monday or Tuesday, each day getting a bit worse. We didn't think of bedbugs because I didn't have any bites. Finally on Saturday morning during a walk, my husband felt something biting him between his toes. He pulled off his sock and found a bug. At that point we lifted the mattress and found several bugs between the mattress and box springs. We saved the bugs in a baggie so they could be seen by staff. We called the after hours number to report. "Oh, really?!" was the only response. We stated that we would not be spending another night, but would instead start driving home early. Once home on Sunday (after sleeping finally), I called the resort again to be sure our message about the bed bugs was passed on to the appropriate people. I was told we had actually spoken to the manager the previous day when we had called the after hours emergency number. They stated that they were taking care of it. NOT ONE WORD OF APOLOGY during either phone call. Absolutely horrible customer service on this issue
