Hotel was very clean then at around 5 am I woke up to itching all over my body. I woke up to find 4 big bed bugs which I caught in a glass and promptly gave to the front desk. They switched my room saying management would handle it in the morning only to find our new room was being occupied by another person. I went downstairs and got yet another room which was way smaller but whatever only to find a spider in the bathtub. By 7 a.m. I went downstairs to get breakfast and got into it with the breakfast lady because she told me it was at 7 but it was then proceeded to harass me about a breakfast coupon which I knew nothing about at this point I didn't care and I was eating breakfast because I was tired and had gotten bit all night so I took the breakfast and went upstairs. When I came back downstairs to get coffee the front desk guy then you asked me what was wrong why I was aggravated and I told him because I had gotten bit by bed bugs and he told me so you brought bed bugs in here. Which was very inappropriate because I felt he wouldn't have said that had I been a white person. I went to sleep around 10 a.m. and woke up around 12 p.m. to him calling me saying that check out was at 11. I told him that no manager had reached out to me about the situation and then he informed me that I could wait in the lobby for the manager to arrive. Holiday Inn's policy is that a manager is supposed to be on duty twenty-four hours a day which that was not the case so by the time the manager arrived he argued me down about how he couldn't do anything and then I called corporate. They informed me that Holiday Inns policy is to not comp a room for someone. So at this point I'm out of a room out of money and all bitten up. They did not handle anything the right way this was the worst hotel experience I've ever had in my life. I will never sleep another Holiday Inn ever.
